THE LADY VIKINGS VOLLEYBALL TEAM ADVANCE TO THE 2A VOLLEYBALL SUB-STATE ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26th!!
The Lady Vikings were the runner up tonight at the 2A volleyball Regional Tournament! The Lady Vikings defeated West Elk 25-19, 25-23; fell to SMC 11-25, 7-25 and defeated Eureka 25-17, 16-25, 25-22.

On Thursday, October 24th, the Northeast High School Football Team will travel to Cedar Vale/Dexter for a 6:00 pm kickoff! Please note that this game is on Thursday due to a shortage of officials and will be played at 6:00 pm!
The Northeast High School Cross Country Team will travel to Richmond-Central Heights for the 2A Regional Meet on Saturday, October 26th! The Vikings will run at 11:10 am.
The NHS chess team took third place at this weekend's tournament in Chanute. Dalton Sherman, Devin Smith, and Spencer Wade received top placement medals.

The situation at the high school has been resolved and we are no longer in a soft lockdown.
The high school is in a soft lockdown while we are dealing with a student situation. There is currently no threat to students safety. We are keeping kids in class until situation is resolved.

The Lady Vikings Varsity Volleyball Team went 1-1 on the night at St. Paul. The Lady Vikings defeated Uniontown 25-20, 25-18 and fell to St. Paul in a hard fought match 23-25, 25-23, 22-25.

On Monday, October 21st, starting at 4:00 pm the Northeast High School Varsity Volleyball Team will travel to St. Mary's Colgan for Regional Volleyball. KSHSAA has changed the format for post season volleyball. In Class 2A in this area, there are four quads being played. The top two teams from each quad will advance to Sub-State on Saturday, October 26th.
