Junior High Activities at a Glance for next week
Junior High parents showed up last night! We ended the night with an 86% attendance rate for conferences. Thank you for taking time out of your schedules to meet with your child's teachers.

A Big Thank You to CHC/SEK for providing our Lady Vikings their Pink Out shirts tonight for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! We are so very fortunate for all that CHC/SEK provides for our communities!
The Lady Vikings get two Big TRL Wins tonight! The Lady Vikings defeated Altoona 25-18, 25-13 and also defeated St Paul 23-25, 25-20, 25-17. Great job, Lady Vikings!
Congrats to our Junior High Football Team for finishing their season a perfect 7-0 What a great honor! First time this has happened in 12 years. Most of these young men were only 1 or 2 years old at that time. Congrats to our cheerleaders for helping them along the way also!
Northeast high school students and parents. We are going to take the kids out to eat that have less than 377 min of school missed in a quarter. This is equal to one school day gone in a quarter. We will have the same guidelines as the finals for absences. All absences count except for Nurse, Death, activity, or legal.

Pink Out Night will be at the home volleyball games on Tuesday, October 10th! Games begin at 5:00 pm!
USD 246 currently provides each student a Chromebook and a Google Workspace Education account to use. Google has updated their Terms of Service and we are now required to keep parent permission on file to manage each of these Google accounts. Please complete this 3 question form to give the district permission to manage these student accounts. Paper copies will also be available at parent teacher conferences later this week.

On Friday, October 13th, the Northeast High School Football Team will host Allen Northern Heights! Kickoff is slated for 7:00 pm!
The Northeast High School Cross Country Team will travel to Southeast for the TRL Meet on Thursday, October 12th! This is located at the Weir Baptist Church Camp.

Congratulations to the NHS chess team on their third place finish to start the season. Members are juniors Spencer Wade, Justice Sigmon, and sophomores Hayden Burt and Liz Myers. Great job, Vikings!!
The Lady Vikings went 1-3 on the day at the Uniontown Tourney. The Lady Vikings defeated Central Heights and fell to Crest, KCC and Marmaton Valley.
The Northeast Football Team falls to Uniontown 44-8.
Students at the high school took a tour of the HIX cooperation with Mrs Gabern and Mrs Popejoy.
Our E-gaming systems are up and going at the high school. The high school will use these systems as an incentive along with starting an E-gaming team.
