The Northeast High School Volleyball Team split at Galena tonight! The Lady Vikings fell to Galena 19-25, 25-17, 6-25. They defeated Chetopa 25-11, 25-8. The Lady Vikings are 14-13 on the season so far.
A select group of math students got to enjoy a day at Pittsburg State
University’s Math Honor Day where they learned a card trick using
math, the Russian Peasant Multiplying Algorithm, and some history of
math in Egypt. We heard a talk from an actuarial scientist about the
benefits and opportunities for studying math after high school.
Finally we ended our day with a show in the planetarium.
Today, Intro to LPSS took part in a hands on lab today! They examined a route traffic stop and discussed various scenarios and Laws! Way to keep it FUN, Mr. A. Smith!
HOSA on Wednesday traveled to Manhattan for their Youth Leadership Conference! Way to represent your Vikings!

The Lady Vikings High School Volleyball Team split at Uniontown tonight. The Lady Vikings fell to Southeast 25-17, 25-18 and defeated Uniontown 27-25, 23-25, 25-19.
USD #246 next board meeting will take place on Monday, Oct. 9th at the Mulberry Senior Citizen Center at 6:00pm. Prior to the meeting, there will be a free spaghetti feed for all Mulberry parents and students that attend Northeast Schools--the meal starts at 4:45pm.
